ECAM Closed due to Hurricane Sally

Hurricane Sally has caused significant flooding due to excessive rainfall and storm surge.  Water levels will continue to rise as heavy rainfall and wind is expected throughout the day.  A flash flood warning remains in effect for the area.

Our managers are evaluating conditions throughout our Associations where it is safe to do so. There is standing water in many roadways as well as damage to landscaping and trees.

There are reports of power outages throughout the area and, according to the Gulf Power website, they are working on restoring services as quickly as possible.  There is no estimated time of repair due to the widespread outage affecting so many customers and delays due to flooding and debris in roads.

Please refer to the NOAA website, local news channels, or the Weather channel for the most up to date information regarding the storm.  The local news channels and Weather channel are providing updates on their websites if you are experiencing a power outage. For road closures and shelter information, please visit the Walton County Emergency Management Facebook page.

There are many roadways that are closed in the area due to flooding and some of our staff are unable to get into the area as of Wednesday morning.  Be assured that we at ECAM will be out checking on properties, as permitted, and will provide updates directly to any affected owners and will provide general updates to Associations, as necessary.
